How To Measure
Chest.
Wrap a soft tape measure around the fullest part of
your chest, under the arms, and keep it level across
your back. Breathe normally and don't puff up or hold
it in.
No tape measure? A piece of string works just as well.
Wrap it around, mark where it meets, then hold it
against a ruler.
Waist. Measure around your natural waist, roughly level with your belly button. If your chest and waist point to different sizes, go with the chest.
Add your layers. Measure over the base layer or jumper you will actually wear underneath, not over a bare shirt. This is the step most people skip and then regret.
Match. Pick the size whose garment chest is at least 2 inches more than your body chest measurement. If you fall between two sizes, go up.
